The Local Area If you are looking for a holiday or short break Low Roofs has everything that you require and the surrounding area has many places of interest to visit and explore. A short drive away is the centre of the ceramic industry Stoke-on-Trent where many famous factories are based including Spode, Burleigh and Wedgwood. Many of these factories have shops attached which offer discounted ceramics. The Wedgwood Visitors Centre is particularly close, only one mile away in Barlaston. A short drive down the road from Low Roofs is the Trentham Estate, this includes a garden centre, a retail village and a monkey park and high ropes. There are also many pleasant walks available in the local vicinity and around the Trentham Estate, including the restored Italian gardens and the lake.

In the nearby towns of Stoke-On-Trent and Newcastle-Under-Lyme there are many forms of entertainment available including Waterworld, Superbowl and two cinemas. if you would like a trip to the theatre The Regent theatre and the New Vic Theatre both offer varied forms of live performances. Within driving distance are also Alton Towers, Bridgemere Garden World and the Peak district National Park. If all you need is a base to stay for work purposes then Low Roofs is ideally situated within a few miles of the M6 (J15 & J14), the A34 and the A50. Low Roofs is situated within the village of Tittensor, near Stone. The village has many amenities within a 3-minute walk including a Post Office, shop and a pub. The English Tourism Board has awarded the cottage a 3 star rating.
